Pierre Monnard started his Banking Career  with Credit Suisse, for 17 years in different positions in Switzerland, London, Hong Kong, Singapore, Bahrain and in 1986 he moved to Nassau,where the Family choose to stay. He joined Nordfinanz Bank Zurich as Branch Manager and stayed for 9 years. In 1998 until today he acts in his own business as Financial Services Provider.

A Bahamian citizen, Mr. Fletcher was educated in Canada and England.  He was called to the Bar of England and Wales (Lincoln’s Inn) in 1992 and the Bahamas Bar in 1993. He is a partner in the Law Firm of Holowesko Pyfrom Fletcher in Nassau and his areas of practice are principally real estate transactions, trusts and estates, corporate law and securities industry law.

Christian Coquoz has been in the banking industry for over 35 years in Switzerland, New York, the Cayman Islands and The Bahamas, where he resides since 1993. He became active in the investment management industry in the mid-eighties and has founded Magnum Global Advisors Ltd, an Asset Management firm regulated by the Securities Commission of The Bahamas in 2014.

He has served as Managing Director of Lombard Odier & Cie (Bahamas) Ltd in Nassau from 1999 until 2014, Resident Manager of Ferrier Lullin Bank & Trust (Bahamas) Ltd (now Julius Baer Bank & Trust Bahamas Ltd) in Nassau from 1993 until 1999, and more recently Head of Private Banking at Ansbacher (Bahamas) Ltd in Nassau from 2014 to 2017.

He also served as a Director on the Board of several licensed financial institutions in The Bahamas, Panama, The Cayman Islands and Bermuda. Additionally, he has served three terms as a Director on the Board of the Association of International Banks & Trust Companies in The Bahamas (AIBT), of which one term was served as Chairman. He also served three terms as a Director of The Bahamas Financial Services Board (BFSB) and two terms as a member of the Financial Services Consultative Forum, a Government appointed committee to review proposed changes in the financial industry. In July 2008, he has been appointed the Honorary Consul of Switzerland to The Commonwealth of The Bahamas.

In 1974, Pierre Retord began his career with the bank Ferrier Lullin & Cie in Geneva, where in various tasks, he acquired a wide experience in financial services during 15 years. He obtained his master's degree in banking in 1983. In 1984, he created and developed for the bank a new service which was dedicated to independent asset managers. In 1991, wanting to give a new direction to his career, he left the bank and founded his own asset management company, Sodiprivés SA in Geneva.

In 1996 he decided to set up a services platform, the Sodi Platforms, entirely dedicated to independent asset managers. This innovative concept quickly gained success with asset managers.

In 1999 Pierre Retord decided to replicate this model in the Bahamas and together with Pierre Monnard and Karl Hoerkens, he created APMS Assets and Portfolio Management Services Ltd which specializes in the founding and running of management companies in the Bahamas.

Jennifer, who serves as Chief Executive Officer, joined the APMS team in 2014. She has worked in the financial services sector for more than 35 years, which include senior positions at major Canadian and Swiss private banks. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in International Finance and professional designations of Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).

Operations Officer

Perpetua graduated from the University of Western Ontario and is a CFA charterholder. She has worked in the financial services industry for over twenty years and was employed at several financial institutions including MeesPierson (Bahamas) Ltd and Ansbacher (Bahamas) Ltd. She has been a part of our team for the last eight years and works in the Operations Department.

International MBA graduate at Florida International University. Has acquired professional experience in operations and finance at an asset management firm before joining APMS Ltd.

Stacia joined APMS Ltd. in 2019 as the company’s Accountant, tasked with ensuring accurate preparation and maintenance of financial records for all companies on the platform. She has over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry within both commercial and investment banking. During this time, she has served in various accounting roles including direct involvement in financial audits, regulatory reporting, preparation of tax returns and financial analytics. Stacia holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Economics from The University of Bradford in West Yorkshire, England. In recent years, she has also successfully completed the Series 6 and Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) examinations, and the Canadian Securities Course (CSC).

Operations Assistant

Prior to joining the APMS Team in 2014, Sandra worked for Westpac Bank and Trust as an Administrative Assistant. Ansbacher Bahamas Limited later acquired Westpac where she continued her career for over 20 years.  She held positions in Banking Operations, Securities Department, Trust Department and in the Private Banking Department where she received her certification as a Financial Planner at the Bahamas Institute of Bankers and completed the study program at The Nastac Group, Nassau, Bahamas towards the Series 7 designation.  Sandra currently serves as Operations Assistant in our Operations Department.

Artist at heart, I experienced different schools in various art sectors before moving on to Graphic design at the IPAC Design school in Geneva where I obtained a professional CAP and then a professional BAC. After improvements in web design and various great experiences, I started working  Graphic Design and web design in May 2019 in the visual communication and digital marketing department.
